Family Trip to Glacier, Washington/Mt Baker
This cabin was right by our condo. It was built in the 1800's. It was available for us to use for games, reading, dinner etc. I fell in love with it...it was so charming. You know how I am with anything old.
Hiking was something we all enjoyed. You can only swim so much...at least Derek and I think so.
I can sum each of my kids up with one word:
Lilly-Eating
If you know Lilly, you know she HATES her car seat. This sweet little girl can't even make it to the grocery store without protesting. So you can imagine what the 5 hour car ride was like.
We did find something that kept her happy for about 10 minutes....desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Lilly "the Hoover" Doman
I have only been berry picking once this year. For several reasons: too busy, too hot, too many park days and friends, but mostly because of my sweet little girl who eats everything.
Just the thought of holding Lilly the whole time or letting her down in the dirt was not appealing. So one morning I convinced Derek to come with me. We were there by 8:00 am. It was already 80 degrees and humid. We listened to Lilly complain while strapped in her stroller. We finally threw a blanket down and turned her loose. Just as I imagined she inhaled everything in site...dirt, rotten berries, bugs, sticks, leaves.
We gave it ten more minutes, picked as many berries as we could and we were out of there.
She's messy but oh, so cute!!
