This is what happens when your kids get the camera

Bridger has always enjoyed taking pictures.  On our trip to Nauvoo he used my camera and took hundreds of pictures.  It was fun to see what he thought was "cool"; pots of flowers, the horse's bum, grandma and grandpa, Lilly.  He did get a few really good pictures but I love the random ones.

Lilly's pictures involved mostly dead dried-up worms on the sidewalk and our feet.

My Little Business Man Summer 2011

When I had a garage sale a few summers ago, Bridger decided to have a lemonade stand.  I noticed after awhile that he was looking sad with his head on his hand.  I told him to perk up and smile or no one would want to buy his lemonade.  He told me I was wrong.  He had noticed whenever he got his sad/grumpy look that people would stop and buy from him.  I'm not sure if I agree with his method but it did work.

Berry picking in Oregon

When I move from Oregon this is what I will miss...Summers picking berries of all kind.  You just can't beat the price $1/lb, the taste of picking your own berries and the size.  It is heaven!

Moving out- Summer 2011

Derek has been working on the clubhouse out back.  When it was complete Bridger went into his room and packed a bunch of clothes, grabbed his shoes and announced he was moving into the clubhouse.  It didn't last long :)

First Day of School 2013

The best first day of school ever!!!  No worries, only excitement.

The Uintas with the Richins

During our trip to Utah I was able to see my dear friends, the Richins, who had moved to Colorado.  We visited them while they were camping in the Uintahs.  Scott helped my kids fish for the first time.  They both caught a few fish.  Sarah caught one too.  She carried it around for the next few hours.  It was a little disgusting to look at but she was not about to put it down.

I can't write about the Richins, both Scott and Amy,  without expressing my gratitude for them.  They have seen me through some dark times.  I owe them more than I can ever repay.  I thank my Heavenly Father for them every day.

Sauvie's Island

We were so sad to see Summer end.  We spent our last weekend with some great friends, the Starkeys, at Sauvie's Island.
