thanks for visiting my blog, i'm glad you liked the projects we did. i, unfortunately was not in charge of the toy swords so i do not have exact instructions on how they are made but i do know the materials used. they are fairly simple and i'm sure you could figure it out with the given materials. good luck!
the materials are: - 1/3 foam pool noodle - pvc pipe w/ a end cap (about 1" or so wide, whatever size fits in the hole of the noodle) - a piece of lawn edging (this is the plastic u-shaped part of the handle. two holes are drilled on each end to slide onto the end of the pvc pipe) - brown electrical tape - to wrap around the pvc pipe handle) - glue (i don't know the exact kind of glue that was used, but i'm sure either a extra strength glue or actual pvc piping adhesive would work.)
** you can save the picture of it from my blog to go by while you're constructing it if you'd like. let me know if you figure it out and how it turns out!
